NewJeans express hopes for a domestic concert next year during radio appearance.
On December 25th KST, the members of NewJeans appeared on the second segment of CBS Radio’s 'Kim Hyun Jung’s News Show', where they shared their reflections on the past year and aspirations for the upcoming one. Notably, they did not use their group name, “NewJeans,” but instead participated under their individual names—Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein.
Hanni expressed her wish for 2025, saying, “I hope we can have a big stage performance here in Korea. When I talk about a big stage, I don’t mean just a large audience, but a performance where I can pour out everything I have.”
She added, “Just like we did at the Tokyo Dome this year, I want to put on an incredible performance in Korea. Nothing is planned yet, but imagining such a stage makes me excited. I hope we can gather with ‘Bunnies’ (our fandom) and make it happen soon.”
NewJeans have been pursuing independent activities since announcing the termination of their exclusive contract with ADOR on November 29th. However, ADOR has contested this, claiming the contract remains valid and has filed a lawsuit seeking confirmation of its validity.
