BTS Jin “kidnaps” J-Hope for ‘Run Jin’
On December 24th KST, BTS member Jin unveiled the “J-Hope Kidnap Project” in the 15th episode of the group’s self-produced variety show 'Run Jin' uploaded to their YouTube channel. This project, which Jin teased back in September, turned into a hilariously elaborate plan involving multiple accomplices to surprise J-Hope. Despite confidently telling Jin to “Do whatever you want,” J-Hope found himself swept into Jin’s intricate scheme.
J-Hope was immediately pulled into filming for 'Run Jin' joining Jin for a schedule filled with unique ideas, including meals and activities crafted entirely by Jin. The unexpected nature of the day left J-Hope stunned, while Jin’s delight at the unfolding chaos created plenty of comedic moments. Despite the surprise, J-Hope expressed his fondness for spending time with Jin, even taking photos to share in the BTS group chat. He also revealed that he keeps up with 'Run Jin' closely, knowing all the previous guests, adding to the heartwarming atmosphere.
Jin’s comedic instincts shone as he guided J-Hope through the planned schedule, often saying, “You can do whatever you want, Hobi,” while subtly leading him into the next mission. However, Jin also fell victim to a surprise twist. Instead of the originally planned military-style training for J-Hope, the two ended up participating in an escape game at an abandoned hospital filled with zombies. Realizing the change only upon arrival, Jin humorously admitted, “I’ve been tricked too,” erupting into laughter.
The full story of Jin and J-Hope’s zombie-filled escape adventure at the abandoned hospital will premiere on BTS’s YouTube channel on December 31st at 9 PM KST, followed by an exclusive release on Weverse an hour later.
