SLL (formerly known as Studio LuluLala or JTBC Studios) has partnered with distributor YG PLUS for the launch of its very own music label, UNCORE.
Expanding its reach from contents such as drama, film, and variety production, JTBC has now confirmed its venture into the music industry with the establishment of UNCORE, which will specialize in K-Pop idol management. The company will oversea music production, performance planning and production, and music and album distribution as its core business areas.
UNCORE's first artist will be the winning group from the ongoing JTBC idol survival program, 'Project 7'. A total of 7 members will be selected to debut in the winning group, set for launch in the first half of 2025. The label is expected to expand its lineup of artists in the future with additional production projects as well as through its own rookie training system.
