Singer Jay Park has canceled his upcoming performance in Tokyo to honor the victims of the Jeju Air tragedy at Muan Airport.
On December 30th KST, his agency, MORE VISION, announced on social media: “First, we express our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the victims and their bereaved families affected by the unfortunate plane accident on December 29th.”
The agency continued, “We inform you that Jay Park’s performance at the ‘CE LA VI TOKYO’ countdown party, scheduled for December 31st, has been canceled. We offer our sincere prayers for the deceased.”
Jay Park also addressed the situation personally on his social media, stating: “In light of the recent Jeju Air accident and in memory of those who lost their lives, I have decided to cancel my performance. My deepest condolences and heartfelt support go out to everyone involved in this tragic incident and their families.”
