Jung Hyung Don, YooA, and G-Dragon : laughter and nostalgia intertwined

TV personality Jung Hyung Don mentioned singer G-Dragon.

On November 19th KST, a video titled “Grown-Up! Or should I say, YooA’s Fresh Transformation? Planning to Give Pocket Money, But…” was uploaded to Jung Hyung Don’s YouTube channel, Jung Hyung Don’s Untitled TV. The guest for the episode was YooA from the group Oh My Girl.

Jung Hyung Don started by saying, “YooA, YooA, I’ll give you pocket money. Just bring us more views.” Holding a stack of cash, he continued, “This is how we do pocket money here.” YooA replied, “Seeing it up close, I really want to win. Can I touch it once?” Jung Hyung Don firmly declined, saying, “No, you can’t. Once it’s touched, it’s off-limits. Only when you win a quiz or a game.” YooA joked, “It doesn’t look brand-new, so can I at least smell it?” Jung Hyung Don’s refusal brought laughter to the set.

The highest prize so far has been 500,000 KRW (approximately 360 USD). YooA remarked, “That’s quite a lot. If I manage to win a big amount, you’ll hand it over without hesitation, right?” Jung Hyung Don reassured her, saying, “Of course, everything is already taxed.” YooA joked, “Can I come back often?” to which Jung Hyung Don replied, “Everyone who comes here says that, so I’ve had to limit appearances.”

Jung Hyung Don then humorously added, “Can I say this? Even GD (G-Dragon) wants to come on the show,” flashing a smile. He joked further, “I’m currently turning him down.” YooA chimed in, saying, “If GD can’t make it, how about letting me come twice instead?” eliciting laughter from everyone.

Jung Hyung Don and G-Dragon formed a connection through MBC’s 'Infinite Challenge'. In 2013, they created a team called 'Hyeongyongdonjjong' for the Freedom Road Music Festival, releasing the song “Having Fun.” Recently, G-Dragon appeared on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block hosted by Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho, while Park Myung Soo continues to mention G-Dragon on his radio show, sending persistent love calls.
