According to a report from IZE on the 6th, BABYMONSTER’s double title track CLIK CLAK from their first studio album DRIP was found ineligible for broadcast by KBS’s music review.
Under KBS’s music review policy, songs that receive an ineligible rating can be resubmitted after modifying or deleting problematic parts. Only songs rated eligible in the review may be aired on KBS’s programs (TV, radio, etc.).
CLIK CLAK was found to violate Article 46 of KBS’s Broadcast Review Regulations, which limits advertising effects in lyrics, as it references specific product brands.
However, the other double title track, DRIP, and additional tracks Love, Maybe, Really Like You, BILLIONAIRE, Love In My Heart, Woke Up In Tokyo (RUKA & ASA), and BATTER UP (Remix) - Bonus Track all received eligible ratings.
CLIK CLAK was a pre-release track from BABYMONSTER’s first studio album. Its music video, released on YouTube on October 30th at 1 PM(KST), garnered 10 million views within 21 hours, drawing significant attention.
BABYMONSTER officially released DRIP on November 1st, marking their comeback. They are expected to continue promoting actively through music shows, radio, and other platforms.
Meanwhile, other songs reviewed by KBS included Balming Tiger’s Cunning City, which was found ineligible due to vulgar language; Snake Chicken Soup’s K!LL ME, which was deemed ineligible for lyrics glamorizing physical and mental abuse; and Pouch Peach’s Cliche, which was also ineligible due to brand name references violating Article 46.
