VANNER's Hyesung is enlisting for his mandatory military service next month.
On October 17, VANNER's label KLAP Entertainment announced, "Hyesung of VANNER will undergo basic training at the training center starting on November 4 and is scheduled to fulfill his national defense duties." The label confirmed there will be no official event on the day of his enlistment and asked fans to refrain from visiting the enlistment site.
KLAP Entertainment further stated Hyesung is planning to complete all scheduled activities for VANNER before his enlistment, adding, "We ask for your continued support and unwavering love until Hyesung returns healthy after completing his military service."
VANNER member Sungkook is currently serving his mandatory military service, and the group has been promoting as 4 members. Hyesung's military discharge date, May 4, 2026, coincides with the end of VANNER's 3-year contract with KLAP Entertainment.
After debuting in February of 2019, VANNER recently gained recognition after winning the JTBC survival show 'Peak Time' last year. They recently released their 3rd mini album 'Burn'.
