Minhwan will be performing behind the scenes at F.T. Island's concert in Taiwan following his prostitution controversy.
On October 25, a new notice was posted for F.T. Island's upcoming '2024 FTISLAND LIVE PULSE' concert in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The notice stated, "After several communications, we regret to make this announcement for the F.T. Island Kaohsiung concert. Member Minhwan will perform behind the scenes due to personal reasons. He will not participate in the meeting and will send benefits for fans instead. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding and support."
The announcement comes after criticism that Minhwan is still performing at the concert following his prostitution controversy. Though he'll still be participating, it seems he'll be limited to performing backstage.
As previously reported, Minhwan is undergoing a police investigation for allegedly soliciting prostitution, and his ex-wife Yulhee has alleged he frequented hostess bars during their marriage. In response, his label FNC Entertainment stated he would be suspending all media activities.
Stay tuned for updates.
