According to media outlet reports on October 5 KST, singer/actress Jiyeon (31) and baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun (37) have filed for divorce.
It's said that the couple filed for divorce mediation some time last month and will soon undergo the mediation process.
Meanwhile, rumors of the couple's divorce began circulating toward the end of June, when one baseball commentator mentioned on a radio broadcast, "Did you know? Hwang Jae Gyun is getting divorced." At the time, Jiyeon had announced a break from her activities on YouTube following her husband's "rage controversy" on the baseball field.
Jiyeon and Hwang Jae Gyun married in December of 2022.
