ILLIT teases trendy and sweet vibes with upcoming music.
ILLIT has hinted at a trendy yet adorable atmosphere in their new music. On October 7th KST, the group released five track videos for their second mini-album ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’ on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel. Each video featured instrumental snippets of the new songs along with charming, themed graphics and backgrounds that perfectly matched the vibe of the tracks, generating significant attention.
The song that left the strongest impression was the title track, ‘Cherish (My Love)’. With its catchy and addictive beat, it has all the signs of becoming a hit. In ‘Cherish (My Love)’, ILLIT sings about being curious about the other person’s feelings but realizing that their own feelings of liking the other person are more important. The song offers a different charm from their debut track ‘Magnetic’, sparking anticipation for their evolving style.
Other tracks also garnered attention, such as the lovely first track ‘I’ll Like You’, the playful and lively ‘IYKYK (If You Know You Know)’, the dreamy ‘Pimple’, and the unique ‘Tick-Tack’ with its captivating electronic sounds right from the start. These diverse sounds have heightened expectations for the upcoming release.
ILLIT’s second mini-album ‘I’LL LIKE YOU’ tells the story of a girl who becomes deeply invested in the moment, meets someone she wants to get close to, and navigates her relationships with others before ultimately trusting her feelings and confidently pursuing “you.” The album is set for global release on October 21st at 6 PM.
