ITZY’s Chaeryeong surprises Jaejoong by mentioning SM Entertainment.

On October 17th, a video titled “Something different K-POP group that can do all | ITZY, Kim Jaejoong” was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘Jae Friends.’

In the video, ITZY members Chaeryeong and Yuna appeared as guests, engaging in a lively conversation with host Kim Jaejoong.

When Kim Jaejoong expressed curiosity about the JYP training system, ITZY explained, “We receive lessons on manners, including dining etiquette. They teach us not to put our elbows on the table and even how to properly handle wine.”

In response, Kim Jaejoong said, “I have a good relationship with JYP. We’re on friendly terms.” Chaeryeong then playfully replied, “I really liked SM,” but quickly apologized, saying “I’m sorry” after realizing the context. Her sudden apology drew laughter from everyone.

Kim Jaejoong had previously experienced a legal dispute with SM Entertainment, but he lightened the mood by jokingly adding, “I like SM too.”

Kim Jaejoong also mentioned JYP’s organic cafeteria, expressing a bit of envy: “One thing I regret is not growing taller. I didn’t eat well, so I admire JYP for that.” Chaeryeong responded, “Before the cafeteria was built, we used to have partnered restaurants.”

When Kim Jaejoong showed interest in visiting JYP Entertainment, ITZY members invited him, saying, “Come visit our new building.” The exchange ended on a warm note.
