BTS' RM & V congratulate author Han Kang on Nobel Prize

BTS' RM and V congratulated author Han Kang on her Nobel Prize.

Soon after South Korean author Han Kang was announced as the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature winner, RM and V took to social media to express their congratulations. Though they're both currently serving in the military, the two BTS members took the time to share their admiration. 

V posted, "Author! I read 'The Boy is Coming' during my military service," and RM reposted V's story to his own Instagram account, adding crying and heart emojis.  

Han Kang is the first South Korean author to win the Nobel Prize in literature. The award is given annually, since 1901, to an author from any country who has "in the field of literature, produced the most outstanding work in an idealistic direction."
