Members of Girls' Generation reunited to celebrate the birthday of Choi Sooyoung in a warm and cheerful gathering.
On March 6, a video titled '[Yuri’s Homemade TV] Choi Sooyoung Birthday Party' was uploaded to the YouTube channel Yuri’s Winning TV.
To celebrate Sooyoung’s 36th birthday, fellow members Yuri, YoonA, and Tiffany Young gathered together for the occasion. The three sang a birthday song and took commemorative photos, creating a heartwarming atmosphere.
Yuri, who had not yet chosen a gift, joked, “Is there anything else you need? If something comes up, let me know.” Sooyoung responded with a smile, saying, “I think something might come up.”
Tiffany Young presented Sooyoung with a luxury pouch. Sooyoung shared a story from a recent trip with Tiffany, saying, “When I brought a Kitty pouch during our trip, Tiffany told me, ‘I don’t think that’s suitable for a 36-year-old.’” Hugging the new pouch, she laughed and added, “I don’t think I’ll be able to carry anything in it. I might have to go inside instead.” Watching the exchange, Yuri jokingly remarked, “Such classy sisters.”
Later, Seohyun and Sunny joined the celebration. Seohyun congratulated Sooyoung and gifted her luxury sunglasses, to which Sooyoung replied, “I love them so much,” expressing her appreciation. Meanwhile, Sooyoung has been publicly dating actor Jung Kyung Ho since 2014.
During the gift unboxing segment, Sooyoung revealed that she had already received a portable TV from YoonA. “I realized that I watch TV at the dining table more often than I thought,” she said. “When YoonA asked what she should buy me, I asked if she could get me a ‘Standby Me’ TV, and she happily bought it for me.”
The reunion highlighted the members’ enduring friendship, delighting fans with a glimpse of their close bond.
