BTS member Jimin’s fans celebrated his birthday on the 13th by participating in a blood donation relay, spreading positive influence.
Jimin’s fans, in collaboration with the Korean Red Cross Seoul Central Blood Center and Busan Blood Center, organized a blood donation relay project in honor of Jimin’s birthday on October 13th KST. Over a period of about three weeks, from September 21st to October 13th KST, more than 692 fans participated, and excluding ineligible participants, 645 people (292 at the Hongdae Center in Seoul, 16 at the Seoul Station Center, and 337 at the Seomyeon Center in Busan) donated blood. Since 2018, a total of 2,545 fans have participated in this blood donation campaign, spanning the years 2018, 2020, 2023, and 2024. The Korean Red Cross Seoul Central Blood Center and Busan Blood Center plan to award certificates of appreciation to Jimin’s fans who participated in the life-saving initiative, as well as to Jimin, who helped promote a culture of blood donation and healthy giving. Jimin’s fans also donated a total of 2,000 commemorative items for blood donors.
The donation campaign will continue until October 21st at the Hongdae Center, Seoul Station Center, and Seomyeon Center in Busan.
