TXT’s Beomgyu returns with season 2 of ‘Exercise Master Beomgyu’
On September 17th KST, MBC’s web entertainment show 'Exercise Master Beomgyu' returns with its second season. Released on the MBC YouTube channel Mdromeda, TXT’s Beomgyu will face even tougher and larger-scale challenges than in the first season.
In the first episode of Exercise Master Beomgyu 2, Beomgyu teams up with Yoo Hee Kwan, a professional baseball pitcher with 100 wins, to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Incheon SSG Landers game.
Beomgyu receives one-point coaching from his mentor, ‘Baseball Master’ Yoo Hee Kwan. After watching Yoo’s demonstration, Beomgyu confidently provokes him by saying, “I think I can catch that pitch,” adding to the tension. Yoo Hee Kwan shows off the beauty of his slow pitches, but one throw ends up hitting Beomgyu, leading to a playful bench-clearing moment that had everyone in stitches. Current SSG Landers players Seo Jin Yong and Oh Won Seok also make appearances, striving to turn Beomgyu into a ‘baseball master.’
After successfully completing the ceremonial pitch, Beomgyu, overwhelmed with relief, runs into Yoo Hee Kwan’s arms, showing a heartwarming mentor-student bond. The two then stay to watch the match between Incheon SSG Landers and Suwon KT Wiz, where they were caught on the stadium’s Kiss Time event, causing laughter with their enthusiastic response.
With even crazier energy than season 1, Exercise Master Beomgyu 2 promises to showcase the perfect chemistry between Beomgyu and Yoo Hee Kwan. The first episode airs on September 17 6PM KST.
