Recently, fans and netizens shared their accounts of seeing Kai riding a bike to work and taking the subway during his mandatory military service. Kai has been serving as a social worker after basic training and is expected to be discharged in February 2025.

Since his enlistment, Kai has been known to keep a wholesome lifestyle.
