LE SSERAFIM in work pants and carrying dung baskets?
On September 2 KST broadcast of KBS 1TV’s ‘Hometown Report’ LE SSERAFIM made an appearance that left everyone surprised.
LE SSERAFIM members Sakura, Kazuha, and Huh Yunjin appeared on the live studio broadcast, explaining their reason for joining the show: “We are making a comeback and want to be loved by the elderly, so we decided to appear on ‘Hometown Report”
On this day, LE SSERAFIM visited Nakhar-ri in Paju with village youth leader and reporter Son Heon Su. They met with a group of 70-year-old women, nicknamed “Paju LE SSERAFIM,” who had won first place in a local dance competition.
The elderly women expressed their regret, saying, “Because of the toll farming takes on our backs and knees, we couldn’t participate in the competition this year.” Addressing the much younger LE SSERAFIM members as “seniors,” they requested dance lessons from the group.
The LE SSERAFIM members entertained the grandmothers by performing the hip dance they wanted to see and even showcased the key choreography from their new song ‘Crazy.’ This marked the first time the group performed their new song at the village hall.
The members also took part in actual farm work, changing into work clothes, including traditional work pants, and helping with tasks such as picking peppers and planting cabbages under the hot sun.
The special collaboration between ‘Hometown Report’ and LE SSERAFIM aired in two parts on September 2nd and will continue on September 9 KST.
