Park Shin Hye’s new fantasy drama, 'The Judge from Hell,' started off strong with impressive ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, the SBS drama's premiere on the 21st recorded 6.8% for the first episode and 9.3% for the second episode, indicating a promising start.

The 120-minute debut broadcast was packed with stunning visuals and dynamic performances, showcasing Park Shin Hye’s versatility. She plays Kang Bit Na, an elite judge who is also a demon from hell. Throughout the first two episodes, Park captivated viewers with her striking transformation between the human and demonic sides of her character.

In the opening scenes, Park Shin Hye appeared as the human Kang Bit Na, dressed modestly with a bare face, pulling viewers in with her emotional portrayal of a character struggling with injustice. As the story progressed, she transformed into the demonic Kang Bit Na, adopting a completely different look with flashy outfits and a change in demeanor, skillfully switching between her human and demonic personas.

Her chemistry with other characters, such as Han Da On (played by Kim Jae Young), Ahn Dae Yong (played by Kim Kwang Gyu), Seo Hwa Seon (played by Lee Mi Do), and Na Young Jin (played by Lee Kyu Hoe), provided humorous and heartwarming moments, especially during scenes where she interacts with children on a courthouse tour.

These interactions highlighted the "lovable demon" side of Kang Bit Na, adding charm to her character.

In action-packed scenes where Kang Bit Na punishes unrepentant criminals, Park Shin Hye delivered intense performances, blending body combat and situational drama, giving viewers a satisfying sense of catharsis.

Through her portrayal of Kang Bit Na, Park Shin Hye successfully expanded her acting range, delivering a character that is both engaging and complex. Her stable acting and exceptional character interpretation maximized the appeal of Kang Bit Na, drawing viewers deeper into the story.

Audiences are eager to see how Park Shin Hye's character will evolve and what new episodes will bring in 'The Judge from Hell.'
