Singer/actor Park Ji Hoon has been offered the leading role in the new webtoon-based drama, 'We Are The Zombie', a zombie comedy.
In the popular Naver webtoon written by Lee Myung Jae, a grand shopping mall known as Seoul Tower is identified as ground zero for a zombie infestation and blocked off from the rest of civilization. Survivors remain trapped inside, dying off one by one.
If he accepts the offer, Park Ji Hoon will play the role of Kim In Jong, a young man who has survived one year inside Seoul Tower. Although he wishes to live without attracting attention to himself, for some reason, he ends up resolving various cases inside the shopping mall.
Notably, the news of Park Ji Hoon's potential casting in 'We Are The Zombie' is garnering attention among the webtoon's original fans, as they commented, "When did In Jong get so handsome?", since the webtoon character is known to be a somewhat chubby, plain-looking male.
