Min Hee Jin, the CEO of ADOR, will appear on a talk show.
On August 6 KST, Hyundai Card announced that it would host the ‘2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel’ (hereafter referred to as Da Vinci Motel) from the September 27 to the 29 KST of next month, around the Hyundai Card area in Itaewon.
‘Da Vinci Motel’ is a cultural convergence event by Hyundai Card, where participants can encounter unique icons from various fields such as art, academia, business, and technology through diverse programs including talks, performances, exhibitions, and busking.
This year's Da Vinci Motel promises an upgraded experience in terms of program content, lineup, ticket sales methods, and accompanying events, raising expectations. The global lineup has been significantly strengthened, taking into account the preferences of international fans.
Global K-pop artists leading the industry, including ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin, as well as singers Rain, Sunmi, Zion.T, and The Quiett, will participate in talks and performances.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet global artists and speakers who are rarely seen at domestic and international festivals. These include Golden Globe-winning actor Steven Yeun from ‘Minari,’ singer-songwriter Johnny Stimson, David Salle, a master of contemporary American art, and Yoon Ahn, the head of the fashion brand Ambush, known for collaborations with global brands like Nike and Rimowa.
This year, a total of 39 teams selected with Hyundai Card's unique perspective will present differentiated programs that go beyond traditional performances and lectures. Notable programs include stand-up comedy from Metacomedy, a talk concert for the musical ‘Red Book,’ a film music listening session by music director Kim Jun Seok, performances and talks by actress Kim Shin Rok, and performance art curated by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Ticket purchases for international audiences have also become more convenient. Hyundai Card received praise last year for issuing all tickets for Da Vinci Motel as NFTs, contributing to the prevention of ticket fraud, a longstanding issue in the domestic concert culture. This year, by applying a global patch to the NFT marketplace Konkrit, international audiences can easily complete the entire process from membership registration and adult verification to payment.
Hyundai Card plans to provide real-time YouTube streaming for all programs of this year’s Da Vinci Motel, allowing audiences, including those abroad who cannot attend in person, to experience the event indirectly.
