KISS OF LIFE’s Natty reveals she developed a complex about her appearance after appearing on ‘Sixteen’.
On August 30th, a video titled “My Black Swan, I Fell in Love with You at First Sight” was uploaded to Lee Young Ji's YouTube channel.
The guest for the day was Natty. The 2002-born Natty and Lee Young Ji, who are the same age, displayed a warm and witty rapport throughout the episode.
As they discussed various topics, Natty recalled her first survival audition show, ‘Sixteen,’ which she participated in when she was just 12 years old. Natty, who is Thai, shared, “I didn’t know much Korean back then, but I was just excited. I liked doing what I was told and being on stage.”
However, Natty confessed, “After the program ended, I developed a complex—about my appearance,” which surprised Lee Young Ji. Natty explained that negative comments were made about her looks at the time. Not knowing Korean, she asked the staff about the meaning of the words and learned they were negative.
Natty added, “When I realized they were saying bad things, I was hurt. I was young, so it became a complex for me.”
In response, Lee Young Ji shared that she also received a lot of negative comments during her appearance on the survival program ‘High School Rapper,’ and the two comforted each other.
