BTS's Jin showcases flawless school uniform look and variety show charm.
On August 20 KST, BTS member Jin showcased his impeccable school uniform look and his variety show charm in the second episode of 'Run Jin', which was uploaded on BTS's official YouTube channel at 9 PM KST.
In this episode, Jin visited his alma mater, Boseong High School, where he engaged in a series of chaotic challenges with the students, bringing plenty of laughter. Dressed in a school uniform, Jin transformed into a pure and handsome figure, joking that he was a “nerd” during his school days and never expected to return to his old school as a superstar. As Jin, looking like a first love from a drama, entered the school, the younger male students enthusiastically cheered for him, shouting, “You’re handsome!” and “We love you!” The students were immediately captivated by Jin, who also had a heartwarming reunion with his former homeroom teacher at the school store.
During the competitions with his juniors, Jin’s variety show skills shone brightly. In challenges requiring physical endurance, like holding a plank for as long as possible and doing push-ups, Jin humorously tried to bribe the students by saying, “I’ll buy you pizza if you give up.” In a song-guessing game, Jin recognized BTS’s own songs slower than the ARMY (BTS fan club) students, which led him to jokingly comment, “BTS is really popular,” causing everyone to burst into laughter. He further enlivened the atmosphere with an arm wrestling match and naturally blended in with the students, even showing off his skills in martial arts that he learned during his school days while enjoying lunch together.
The episode ended with a teaser for the next one, showing “PC Bang employee Jin” looking flustered as he handles a flood of food orders and a crowd of young customers, sparking anticipation for the following episode. Run Jin is released every Tuesday at 9 PM on BTS’s YouTube channel and can also be viewed an hour later on the global superfans platform Weverse.
Meanwhile, Jin continues to connect with the public through Run BTS Jin and other shows like MBC’s variety program 'Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island' which aired on the 19th.
