On August 6, a video titled "Meeting the Honest and Confident Actress Lim Ji Yeon Was Fun~" was uploaded to Sung Si Kyung's YouTube channel.
In the video, Lim Ji Yeon reminisced about her first meeting with Sung Si Kyung, which occurred about 10 years ago at the Baeksang Arts Awards when she was nominated for Best New Actress for the movie 'Obsessed.'
Lim Ji Yeon shared, "It was my first time attending, and I met Sung Si Kyung when he came to greet Yoo Hae Jin at our table. I remember smelling a strong scent of alcohol and thinking, 'How much did he drink last night at an awards ceremony?'"
In response, Sung Si Kyung appeared embarrassed but added humorously, "Among my fans, I heard I looked fine. That was one of my better days."
Seeking clarification, Sung Si Kyung asked his manager to explain the situation. The manager revealed, "We had gone out after a concert the previous night. It was a schedule he initially wasn't supposed to attend, but I insisted he go."
Sung Si Kyung then apologized, saying, "I didn't even realize I was getting my hair and makeup done while lying down. I'm really sorry."
Despite the brief encounter, Lim Ji Yeon admitted, "I thought it would be fun to have a drink together someday."
Sung Si Kyung concluded with a joke, saying, "I starred in 'Obsessed,' but it turns out you thought I was 'Alcohol-Obsessed'," which brought laughter to the conversation.
