On August 2, CNBLUE's Yonghwa updated fans from his trip to Daegu via Instagram story.
Sharing a photo of a cool, summer beverage, the musician wrote, "I'm in Daegu and a man came up to me going, 'Excuse me, but are you..?', so I started saying, 'Yes, I am. Hello'. But then he said, 'Are you Won Tae In..?' and so I said, 'I hear that a lot'. Just thought I'd let you know, and by the way good game today @WON_TAE_IN."
The real Won Tae In (24), pitcher for the Samsung Lions, soon re-posted Yonghwa's anecdote via his own Instagram, adding laughing emojis.
Yonghwa and Won Tae In are in fact well-known for being celebrity doppelgängers, having garnered attention for their similar facial features in the past. Last year, Yonghwa stated on a variety program, "I do not known Won Tae In in-person, but because there was so much talk of us being look-alikes, our universes crossed paths eventually. We've now decided to have a meal together very soon. I think when I actually meet him in-person, I might go, 'Huh?'."
Now, based on his post and his interaction with Won Tae In through SNS, it seems that the two have become good friends who can joke about being doppelgängers!
