HYBE and PLEDIS Entertainment's rookie boy band TWS (pronounced ‘Two-Us’) became the first K-Pop act ever to perform at the Ray Charles Terrace at the GRAMMY Museum® last night for their sold out Global Spin Live date. The six-piece act (SHINYU, DOHOON, YOUNGJAE, HANJIN, JIHOON, KYUNGMIN), showcased high-energy performances of their hit tracks and engaged in an interview with host Emily Mei, sharing their excitement about their first U.S. visit as a group and answering questions from the fans. When asked about TWS's musical evolution in the coming years, JIHOON shared his aspirations, saying, "I want to be an artist with a unique style and a positive message." DOHOON added, "I hope our fans, 42, and the wider audience will recognize our music or performances and say, 'Oh, this is TWS!'." Tickets for TWS’ Global Spin Live sold out within minutes of initially going on sale, so the group performed to an excited and packed crowd.

August 1 marked the pre-opening of the GRAMMY Museum®'s HYBE: We Believe In Music exhibition that chronicles the history of and impact of HYBE, while showcasing its legacy of unparalleled innovation and creativity as a trend-setting global entertainment brand. Upon arrival, TWS toured the exhibit, which showcased the group’s official photos and the bracelets that they wore in those photos from the group’s debut album, 'Sparkling Blue.'

Prior to their Global Spin Live appearance, the group captivated audiences this past week at 'KCON LA 2024'. The group performed two exciting high energy performances while at KCON LA and got to meet 42 (TWS’s fandom) in the U.S. for the first time. They also performed at iHeartRadio Theater in front of live audiences for the iHeartRadio LIVE series.

About the performance, JoJo Wright, host of iHeartRadio station’s KISS-FM show JoJo On the Radio, shared, “Skies are the limit for these guys. Their performance is electric, choreography is through the roof, and fans know it. And I’m obsessed with 'Double Take'!”

Since their debut, TWS has rapidly gained traction with their infectious 'Boyhood Pop' sound and relatable lyrics. Their debut album, 'Sparkling Blue,' introduced the world to their vibrant energy with the catchy, earwarm lead single “plot twist.” 2nd mini album 'SUMMER BEAT!' has solidified their position as a rising force in K-pop, selling over half a million copies.
