Shin Se Kyung is in talks to star in the upcoming drama 'Human Starting from Today'.
On July 10, reports revealed Shin Se Kyung is starring in the new fantasy rom-com series, and her label The Present Company clarified, "Shin Se Kyung received an offer to star in the drama 'Human Starting from Today', and she's currently reviewing the offer in a positive light."
'Human Starting from Today' is a story about a gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox). However, unlike traditional gumihos who attempt to transform into humans by seducing men and eating their livers, this quirky gumiho lives cautiously, keeping her distance from men in fear of possibly becoming human herself. The drama depicts a mix of teasing and heartwarming romantic comedy, portraying misunderstandings followed by affectionate moments.
If cast, Shin Se Kyung will play Eun Ho, a 'hobby-rich' MZ gumiho who enjoys the fun parts of the human world without growing up while relishing in her eternal youth and beauty and taking no responsibilities. Content with her unique existence, Eun Ho suddenly finds herself turning into a below-average human after a brief accident involving an egoistic football star, adapting to life in the human world.
In other news, Shin Se Kyung signed with The Present Company this past week after parting ways with EDAM Entertainment.
