YouTuber Tzuyang has revealed a video and emails showing she was threatened by cyber wrecker YouTuber Gu Je Yeok.

On July 18, Tzuyang started a live broadcast on her YouTube channel titled 'I am Revealing the Threatening Video.'

During the broadcast, Tzuyang shared a video involving Gu Je Yeok. This video, which was not uploaded by Gu Je Yeok, showed that he had received an anonymous tip-off alleging Tzuyang's involvement in tax evasion. Tzuyang explained that she received a threatening email and explained, "This video was partially released by Gu Je Yeok to threaten me. He sent the video link, saying he couldn't wait indefinitely and that if I didn't respond, he would assume I had no objections."

She also released emails sent by Gu Je Yeok. Tzuyang recounted, "I didn't want to make this story public, so I had my staff contact him. The producer and director met with Gu Je Yeok without me, but we ended up signing an unwanted contract and paying 55 million KRW (~39,795.10 USD)."

Her legal representative commented on the tax evasion issue, stating, "At that time, the company's financial management, income, and settlements were not properly handled, and we had no idea how expenses were being processed. The claims related to tax evasion are unfounded."

Tzuyang added, "If there are any issues regarding tax evasion, I will provide the relevant evidence and cooperate with the investigation."

She continued, "I didn't want to release the video, but the spread of false information started causing harm to my family and staff." She explained Gu Jae Yeok's video was too long so she decided to reveal parts of the video that was necessary.

The legal representative further explained, "Tzuyang had no intention of releasing the video. However, since Gu Je Yeok claimed he never threatened her, we decided to release it to prove that our claims are not unfounded."

Tzuyang also made public an email she received from Gu Je Yeok. The email included a request for Tzuyang's side to share their opinion on a video Gu Je Yeok had made, stating, "If there is no reply, I have no choice but to assume there is no objection."
