Former TVXQ member Kim Jaejoong recently revealed harrowing experiences with obsessive fans, known as "sasaeng fans," who invaded his personal space. On June 26, Jaejoong released his 20th-anniversary album, which includes the song "Don't" that directly addresses the issue of sasaeng fans.
Appearing on SBS Power FM's 'Cultwo Show' on July 1 KST, DJ Kim Tae Gyun brought up the song "Don't" and asked if many fans had invaded his dormitory. Kim Jaejoong responded, "There were too many incidents where sasaengs broke into the dormitory. They even came to my house."
He recounted a particularly disturbing incident: "One night, I dreamt of being kissed by a woman. It felt too real to be a dream. When I opened my eyes, a woman was standing over me with her hair covering her face except for her eyes."
Jaejoong continued, "I realized it wasn't a dream. A sasaeng fan had broken into my house. It was terrifying. Please, don't do such things."
He had previously shared similar experiences on a YouTube broadcast on June 27, where he said, "I once received a photo of myself from an unknown number. It was a picture of my back taken inside my house. By the time I noticed, it was too late; they had already entered, taken the photo, and left."
Jaejoong confessed, "I became paranoid, constantly looking around like a prisoner."
