Jung Joon-young, who was recently released after serving a prison sentence for sexual offenses, has been allegedly spotted in Lyon, France. On the 8th, a netizen shared a photo online revealing Jung Joon-young's current appearance in Lyon.
In the photo, Jung Joon-young is seen with long hair and facial hair, even smiling. The netizen who posted the photo mentioned, "He was at a bar trying to flirt with women, asking for their Instagram accounts and saying he plans to open a Korean restaurant in Lyon. He introduced himself as Jun, claiming to be a famous singer from Korea."
Another netizen reported a translated account from a French person who encountered Jung Joon-young in a Lyon club. The French individual described an incident where their drink order was wrong, and Jung Joon-young approached, offering to take the drinks and striking up a conversation.
Jung Joon-young previously attempted to open a restaurant in Paris in 2018, but the plan fell through amid the Burning Sun scandal.
In 2020, Jung Joon-young was sentenced to five years in prison for gang-raping women in January and March 2016 in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province, and Daegu, respectively. He was also convicted of distributing illegal videos 11 times in a group chat. He was released from Mokpo Prison in March this year.
