On July 22, (G)I-DLE's Soyeon appeared on MBC FM4U's "Kim Shin Young's Noon Song of Hope."
During the show, DJ Kim Shin Young asked Soyeon, "You recently attended the Blue Dragon Series Awards, performed at S Broadcasting Station's Music Festival yesterday, and now you're performing live in front of me today. Which one made you the most nervous?" Soyeon replied, "When I'm with the members, I feel supported and not nervous, but today, I was really nervous."
Kim Shin Young complimented her, saying, "I've always wanted to sing as comfortably as you did. You can't perform like that unless you're the one who made the song." Soyeon shyly responded, "Thank you for allowing me to sing alone."
Kim Shin Young then mentioned (G)I-DLE's upcoming world tour, saying, "The world tour is starting soon. (G)I-DLE doesn't have much rest due to the constant touring. This will be your third world tour, (I'm envious) because I've never done a world tour, only a nationwide tour." Soyeon expressed her hope for a nationwide tour, "A nationwide tour is a dream I have. It would be amazing for us. It's not easy to have a lot of people come to see you even in Seoul."
Soyeon shared more details about the tour, saying, "It's just around the corner on August 3 and 4. We'll start at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena and then head to various cities including Hong Kong, Japan, the United States, Thailand, and Australia." Kim Shin Young remarked, "Filling the Olympic Gymnastics Arena is an incredible feat."
Soyeon proudly said, "It's actually a dream stage for us. The arena sold out, so we even opened up the restricted view seats. I'm so grateful and amazed."
Kim Shin Young praised (G)I-DLE's members, "The group has such interesting and unique members. While listening to your songs, I thought you guys were cool. Your music is something we can trust and listen to."
Soyeon, who was listening, said, "When we released 'Klaxon,' I wanted to be like cool sunbaenim. I hoped that people from this era would enjoy our music as much."
Finally, Kim Shin Young asked, "Is there any group you would really like to give a song to?" Soyeon responded, "NewJeans. I could give them not just one song, but a hundred songs. If they want any, just contact me anytime," she said with a shy smile.
Kim Shin Young then remarked, "If it's NewJeans, I have to yield immediately," to which Soyeon replied, "I really love NewJeans and also aespa," showing her fan spirit.
