On the first episode of JTBC's new reality show 'My Name Is Gabriel', actor Park Bo Gum began his new life as a different person in Dublin, Ireland.
First, before being assigned to his new life, Park Bo Gum opened up about his own life during an interview with the production crew. He said, "When I was first invited to be on this show, I was hesitant. But then, I thought that it might be no different from acting. As an actor, I am constantly living the lives of different people. Also, I was told that Park Myung Soo would also be on this show, so I said yes."
Next, Park Bo Gum was asked, "What kind of life do you think you would have had if you weren't the current Park Bo Gum?" Hearing this, the actor replied, "If I were not living the current life I am living now... I would not be an actor. But still, even then... I think I would have found moments of happiness in that life as well, right?" and teared up at the thought.
Later, Park Bo Gum arrived in Dublin and was tasked with living the life of an a cappella group director for 72 hours. The actor received prompt directions for every aspect of his life, like what he should eat, where he should go, and how he should interact with others. When he stepped out into the streets of Dublin, Park Bo Gum observed, "No one looked at me as I passed by. They all just went about their business, and that got me really excited."
In particular, Park Bo Gum was surprised to find that his a cappella group was huge, and that he had to prepare for a street performance with the group in two days.
Meanwhile, also on this episode, comedian Park Myung Soo began his new life for the next 72 hours in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
