A composer identified as Mr. Choi (39) has been sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison by Criminal Division 7 of the Seoul Eastern District Court for violating the Narcotic Drugs Control Act. The sentencing occurred on May 24 KST, as reported by legal sources on June 3 KST.
According to the prosecution's case, Choi consumed methamphetamines in a practice room on February 21. Later that night, he caused a disturbance at an unmanned café in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, while experiencing hallucinations. Following the commotion, Choi removed his clothing and was apprehended by the police.
Upon responding to the incident report, law enforcement administered a drug test, which confirmed Choi's drug use. Additionally, he was accused of consuming Philopon once more at a hotel earlier that month.
The prosecution had initially sought a six-year prison term, deeming the sentence handed down in the first trial as unjust. They argued that Choi's drug use, despite being on probation for a prior drug-related offense, warranted a more severe punishment. Choi has also filed an appeal against the initial trial verdict.

It doesn't even sound like he had a good time doing all those drugs, what a pointless decision.
