Many netizens were angered after Cignature member Jiwon was placed in an uncomfortable situation on the latest episode of the YouTube show 'No Back Tak.'
On June 19, 'No Back Tak,' hosted by Tak Jae Hoon and Shin Gyu Jin, launched its third season with guests Tanaka Yukio (Kim Kyung Wook) and AV actress Ogura Yuna.
Following the controversy, both the YouTube channel No Back Tak and Cignature's agency C9 Entertainment issued an apology to the viewers and fans.
No Back Tak wrote on its community:
"Hello, this is the production team of 'No Back Tak.'
First, we sincerely apologize to all viewers who felt uncomfortable watching the episode, without offering any excuses.
This issue is entirely the fault of the production team. We acknowledge that there was a lack of consideration for Jiwon, who recently joined as a new MC, as many viewers have pointed out. Consequently, the production team met with Jiwon and representatives from C9 Entertainment to deliver a heartfelt apology.
Additionally, we recognize that the questions directed at Jiwon during the recording were inappropriate. Although Tak Jae Hoon attempted to intervene, the editing process failed to reflect his intentions, focusing solely on the entertainment value of the scene. We also extend our apologies to Tak Jae-hoon for this.
We have been producing the program with the concept of "No Back," targeting male viewers for their enjoyment. However, as the channel grew due to the overwhelming love and interest from our audience, we failed to fully recognize that our mistakes could lead to social controversy. For this, we apologize once again.
Taking this controversy as a lesson, all members of the production team will pay closer attention throughout the entire content creation process. We will strive to ensure that we can repay the support of our audience with the enjoyable content of 'No Back Tak'."
Thank you."

"Hello,
This is C9 Entertainment.
We would like to provide guidance regarding our artist Jiwon joining as a new MC on 'No Back Tak.'
Concerning the controversy that arose during the episode, we had a serious conversation with Jiwon on the day of the broadcast and over an extended period of time about the issue.
Jiwon was committed to filming under the concept of "No Back" and had no emotional issues. During the filming, both Tak Jae-hoon and Shin Kyu Jin actively discussed the potential problems related to the content. Additionally, Jiwon received the edited version from the production team in advance and expressed no objections to the broadcast version to fulfill her role on the No Back Tak channel.
We look forward to our artist Jiwon performing her role confidently as a member of No Back Tak while maintaining sufficient communication with the No Back production team.
As Jiwon takes on an important role on a beloved channel, we ask for your generous support so that she can be equally loved.
We also ask for your continued interest in Cignature's future activities.
Thank you."

there's not even a hint of apology on c9's statement. they literally just said "we've watched it before and saw nothing wrong with that". if they were going to release a statement as pathetic as this, it would have been be better to keep silent
