YG Entertainment has just announced that a special concert movie, filmed from the last performance of BLACKPINK’s ‘BORN PINK’ World Tour, will be released on July 31. The film’s release will celebrate BLACKPINK’s upcoming eighth anniversary as a group.

The movie, titled Blackpink World Tour [Born Pink] In Cinemas, will be available to watch in theaters in over 110 countries. Tickets for the movie go on sale starting on June 27 worldwide, and July 17 in South Korea.

The record-breaking ‘BORN PINK’ world tour featured many exclusive performances and specially arranged versions of BLACKPINK’s hit songs. The tour drew in over 1.8 million fans in total, as the group visited 34 different cities across the world. The ‘BORN PINK’ tour included BLACKPINK’s well-known Coachella performance, as they became the first ever K-pop group to headline Coachella. The tour is also notable for being the highest-grossing tour by an Asian group and a female group in history.

YG announced, not Blackpink. Blackpink ain't doing anything.

This is gonna be the cycle. You're going to get a boring and unimagined "comeback" you may get a tour and then nothing for forever and maybe a throw-together movie about it with scripted clips to make it seem glamorous.

I'm not the only one who said Blackpink pretty much ended in 2019.
