On May 2 KST, the pseudoscience group 'Dahnworld' (also known as 'Dahnworld Corporation') released a statement to deny recent rumors and accusations surrounding the group's affiliation with the entertainment company HYBE Labels.
The group stated, "Recently, in light of the ongoing feud between the entertainment company HYBE and CEO Min Hee Jin of ADOR, rumors of the meditation company 'Dahnworld's affiliation with the feud have popped up out of the blue."
The group continued, "'Dahnworld Corporation' strongly emphasizes that these rumors are absolutely false, and we plan on taking strict legal measures against the spread of indiscriminate, false rumors, and the resulting defamation, obstruction of business, and economic losses suffered by such actions."
'Dahnworld' further claimed, "'Dahnworld Corporation' is a business that operates for profit. It does not tell anyone to believe in any religion."
Regarding suspicions of HYBE's affiliation with 'Dahnworld' based on the fact that six members of BTS graduated from Global Cyber University, the group stated, "We sincerely hope that the members of BTS, who graduated from Global Cyber University, will not be affected by the absurd and false rumors. Once again, we emphasize that we are in no way affiliated with the members of BTS."
Additionally, the group stressed that 'Dahnworld' was not a religious cult, but a business corporation operating "meditation centers around the world" aimed at "spreading Korean meditation techniques training the body, soul, and mind".
