In a recent interview held at a cafe in Seoul, Kim Hye Yoon, known for her role in the tvN drama 'Lovely Runner', shared insights about her experience filming the popular series.

Playing the character Im Sol, Kim Hye Yoon embarked on a time-slip redemption romance alongside her co-star Byun Woo Seok, who portrayed Ryu Seon Jae. Reflecting on the end of the show, Kim Hye Yoon expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support received from viewers, particularly highlighting the impact of the final episode and reaction videos.

Discussing her character, Kim mentioned feeling a 50% rate of similarity with Im Sol, and stated, "I think Sol's bright and lively appearance is similar to mine. So, when I had to act like that, it was not difficult." She also touched on her chemistry with Byun Woo Seok, describing him as a friendly older brother figure on set.

Recalling a particularly cold day of filming, Kim Hye Yoon shared a humorous anecdote about filming a scene with Byun Woo Seok, jokingly referring to their bond as "comradeship." Despite nerves during intimate scenes, Kim praised the director's guidance and expressed gratitude for the supportive atmosphere on set.

Kim Hye Yoon is also known for making her co-stars stand out from the past. However, she showed humility, saying, "It's not because my co-stars were with me, but because they were people who would shine regardless someday, and I think I just happened to be a part of that project." In addition, Kim Hye Yoon said, “In the case of Byun Woo Seok, he has been shining from the beginning, and I think he shined even more through this work,” and added, “I am watching him as a mother would as he gets further away. Now I have to catch up with him.” 

“I think I can do it,” she added with a laugh.
