On April 4 KST, actress Hwang Jung Eum posted a photo of an unidentified woman on her Instagram story, accompanied by the words, "Hey ugly. Please, please, marry my husband. But can't your Bangkok vacation wait until the divorce is done?"

The SNS post revealed not only the woman's face, but also their SNS username, despite the woman's seemingly civilian status. Many netizens suspected that Hwang Jung Eum believed the woman in the photo to be one of the women involved in her husband Lee Young Don's extramarital affairs. In another post shared by Hwang Jung Eum, the unidentified woman thanked an individual named "Lee Young Don" for treating them to a vacation in Thailand. 

However, the SNS posts were quickly deleted soon after they were posted. 

When contacted by media outlets, the individual whose face and SNS account was publicized by Hwang Jung Eum revealed, "I had no idea that Lee Young Don was the name of Hwang Jung Eum's husband." 

She then clarified, "Lee Young Don is a nickname that I use for one of my best friends, who is a woman. We altered our names to sound like male names and call each other those names as our nicknames." The woman added on that she and two of her close friends had recently vacationed in Bangkok, but none of them had ever met Hwang Jung Eum's husband Lee Young Don. 

The woman then demanded, "If she does not apologize, I will sue her for defamation."

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung Eum is currently involved in a divorce lawsuit against her husband Lee Yong Don, a former professional golfer.
