Lucy made a comeback last month with their 7th single "The Knight Who Can't Die and the Silk Cradle."
On April 5, the band revealed the schedule for their first-ever world tour, including stops in Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York City, Chicago, Austin, Dallas, Los Angeles, among other cities.
Ticket sales for the general public will open on April 19 and Lucy is set to begin the North American leg of their world tour on May 23.
However, upon seeing the tour schedule, fans have grown concerned about the band's health because of numerous back-to-back performances. The boys will perform in Toronto on May 23, in Montreal on May 24, and then will travel to Boston to perform on May 26, in New York on May 27, and in Philadelphia on May 28. Then they head over to Pittsburgh to perform on May 30, in Cleveland on May 31, and in Detroit on June 1. It doesn't stop there. They've scheduled consecutive shows in Austin and Dallas, followed by three days straight in Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, culminating with back-to-back performances in Portland and Seattle.
The boys will have little time for rest throughout the whole tour, which drew concern among Korean fans.
Korean netizens and fans commented, "This is too packed," "I've seen their live performance and the vocalist is really good but it seems like he has a weak vocal box... So I'm very concerned," "The staff is going to have a hard time too," "This is so crazy," "I hope the members are paid a lot if they go on this tour that's so packed tightly," "Will the vocalist be okay?" "Wow, they have no time to rest," "They can't even enjoy the city they're traveling to," "I'm concerned about the singer. How is he going to be singing almost every single day?" "Wow, even ordinary company people get two days of rest after working five days. If he uses his voice like that, doesn't he need to rest?" "Who schedules a tour like this?" and "I'm happy as a fan but this is too tight of a schedule."
It doesn't seem that unusual to have a few weeks of back-to-back dates, especially if you have something like an "America leg"? It's common for "regular" artists, it's not like Lucy is a k-pop group with 2 - 2,5 hours of dancing each night...
