Kep1er's agency responded to reports of their disbandment.
On April 25, reports stated Kep1er would be officially disbanding this July following contract discussions, and they'll likely release one last album and farewell concert for their fans.
However, the project girl group's agency WAKEONE denied the speculation, stating, "We're still in discussion with each member and their respective labels about the extension of Kep1er's activities. Kep1er are currently preparing for a new album, so we ask for your support so they can return with good music."
The 9-member girl group was formed on the Mnet survival program 'Girls Planet 999', and they debuted with the release of their 1st mini album 'First Impact' in January of 2022. Kep1er's contract was originally for a period of 2 years and 6 months, and this July would mark the end of that period.
Stay tuned for updates!

Sounds more like "We know it'll kill sales to say the group is disbanded BEFORE trying to get you to buy it."
