A recent fan meet event hosted by former NCT member Lucas has garnered attention online.
On April 5th, a screenshot from Lucas' Bubble was circulated online. In the screenshot, Lucas is seen posing with his fans at his latest fan meet event.
Upon seeing the screenshot, some netizens wasted no time in ridiculing Lucas, suggesting that his popularity has dwindled and that he now has a significantly smaller fan base. However, others rushed to his defense, explaining that the small turnout was intentional as the attendance was limited to 30 people.
Some of the comments are:
"I'm more surprised that he still has fans."
"It's surprising that SME released his album."
"There are more NCT members than people in that building."
"Do you like mocking him without the correct context? He only selected 30 people to attend the fan sign event and he only took a picture with the willing fans. He simply shared the picture thanking his fans on Bubble after the event and it must have been a cherished memory for the fans who attended. If you don't like him why don't you just ignore him? Why are y'all keep on mocking him?"
"It's funny that he has more girlfriends than the fans lol"
"Sure it's up to you to hate him but I heard the event was limited to 30 people. I don't think it's fair to mock him with this."
Meanwhile, Lucas debuted as a solo artist on April 1st with the single 'Renegade.'
If the entry was limited to 30 people and 30 turned up, I guess it's a sellout. I don't think I'd have booked a theatre that size though, or taken a photo like that, it was bound to lead to ridicule. That's poor planning.
