Furthermore, Park conveyed his hopes for Fu Bao to remain healthy and not forget the memories and smells of Korea, even after moving to China, signifying a deep emotional connection and a widespread sentiment of goodwill towards the panda from the Korean public.
Since I'm from San Diego and have experienced 5 pandas cubs born in the zoo returned to China. Also, saw the return of the parent pandas. While I wish they could have left us the parent pandas to live out their days after their reproductive years have ended, it's always a given the cubs be returned to China to continue the breeding program. Our Bai Yun (mother panda) has great grand offsprings due to the success of the program. Next time I go to Taiwan, I might have to go visit her great grand cubs.
