Lee Hi and Woo Won Jae personally shared their thoughts on parting with AOMG.
On March 28, Lee Hi and Woo Won Jae each took to social media to share a message to fans regarding the latest news that they will be parting ways with the label AOMG.
First, Lee Hi wrote, "Thanks to AOMG, a company that has been like a family to me, I was able to learn a lot over the past three years. It was a time of growth for me in another sense as I was able to work with good teammates who respect each other." She continued, "However, I am going to walk my path in a different direction now. Although it was a short yet long time, I feel quite attached, so it's bittersweet for me. I'll stop writing my long story here. I love you all!" Lee Hi concluded by saying, "Please wait a little, and I'll come back with lots of good music!"
Woo Won Jae also shared on his Instagram, "Hmm.. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that my twenties were just the four letters of AOMG. Looking back at my sparkling twenties, every moment spent with our family was filled with happy memories, so a corner of my heart feels so cold like this~." He continued, "Just in case you're worried, I will always be in the same place! Nothing will change. AOMG that has supported me all this time, I love you, and thank you once again. Now, I'm trying to wrap up this post, but I don't know how to end it." Woo Won Jae concluded and wrote, "I feel like I'm not very good at wrapping things up in many ways. It doesn't feel like the end either. Anyway, please look forward to the future Woo Won Jae. AOMG Forever."
Meanwhile, AOMG posted a statement on social media revealing that the exclusive contracts of GRAY, Lee Hi, Woo Won Jae, and Goosebumps with the label have expired. According to the announcement, the four artists did not decide to renew their contracts with the label, bringing shock to fans.
Lee Hi was only with AOMG for three years??? Damn it feels like it's been double that.
