Wearing white ribbons, the six-member girl group TRI.BE stood on the promised live TV stage, bidding farewell to their closest musical colleague in such a composed manner.

Hit composer and producer Shinsadong Tiger (real name Lee Ho-yang) was found dead on the 23rd. Many K-pop artists who had worked with him expressed their unbearable sorrow in their own ways of mourning. TRI.BE, the six-member girl group that Shinsadong Tiger had passionately devoted himself to, had a comeback stage on the broadcast that announced the news of his death. From the second day after his death, the 24th, they sang with 'white ribbons' pinned to their chests.

The title of TRI.BE's new song, which became Shinsadong Tiger's posthumous work, is 'Diamond'. 

It eerily overlaps with the legacy of the deceased, who significantly 'brightened' an era of K-pop.

The wake was held at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, and the funeral was conducted in private at the request of the family. The funeral procession took place at 2 pm on the 25th.

With the unexpected death of Shinsadong Tiger, attention also turned to TRI.BE, whom he had cherished as the overall producer during his lifetime. According to one associate, since their debut in 2021, "the shock and sorrow are considerable, as they had been running together all this time."

Their scheduled activities are proceeding without delay. Despite the news of his death on the 23rd, they appeared live on KBS 2TV's music program 'Music Bank' that day and were also seen on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' and SBS's 'Inkigayo' on the 24th and 25th. 

The members agreed that "keeping the stage under any circumstances" was the sincere way to send off Shinsadong Tiger.

Artists who had performed his hit songs also joined the mourning. T-ara member and actress Ham Eunjung visited the wake, and Soyeon, a former member of T-ara and now an actress, expressed her sorrow on her SNS, considering she was abroad. 

Choi Jung Hoon of the group Jannabi also shared memories with Shinsadong Tiger on SNS, comforting the deceased.

Shinsadong Tiger was a 'hitmaker' who is always mentioned when talking about the second and third generations of K-pop idols. He produced mega-hit songs with addictive melodies, including 4Minute's 'Hot Issue', T-ara's 'Roly-Poly', HyunA's 'Change', Secret's 'Magic', EXID's 'Up & Down', and Momoland's 'Bboom Bboom'.
