On February 7, global fandom platform Mubeat unveiled its January video chart, showcasing the continued dominance of BABYMONSTER's "Batter Up" music video for the second consecutive month.
The intense hip-hop pre-debut track "Batter Up" gave a first look to what YG Entertainment's upcoming girl group BABYMONSTER has in house, securing the highest number of views in January, following its record-breaking performance in December. Unlike the intense and strong concept "Batter Up" had teased, BABYMONSTER also released a second pre-debut single entitled "Stuck In The Middle" on February 1 as the group gears up for their full debut scheduled for April with the return of their member Ahyeon.
Claiming the second position on the January video chart was JYP's powerhouse girl group, NMIXX, with their captivating mix-pop sound and robust performance in "Dash." NMIXX achieved a quadruple crown in music shows with "Dash," sustaining their upward trajectory. IU's "Love Wins All" secured the third spot, with its music video gaining attention for its direction by director Um Tae Hwa, featuring BTS's V in a supporting role.
Other notable entries on the January video chart include the rising rookie boy group ALL(H)OURS with their impressive choreography and stage presence in "Gotcha" at the fourth spot. Pentagon Hui's first solo album title track, "Hmm BOP," showcased his exceptional musical capabilities, securing the sixth position. (G)I-DLE proved their unwavering presence in the industry with their 2nd full-length album title track, "Super Lady," and pre-release track "Wife," claiming the fifth and seventh positions, respectively.
