On January 15, Park Min Young took to her Instagram to express her sentiments, sharing photos along with the poignant caption, "I'm sick of it all. However, I now have a resilient heart to safeguard my beans (her fandom name). Don't worry." Her latest remarks reveal her acknowledgment of the ongoing controversy surrounding her ex-boyfriend, businessman Kang Jong Hyun.
Earlier the same day, Dispatch reported that the actress received 250 million KRW (189,096 USD) from Kang Jong Hyun. According to the report, Kang withdrew the money from a subsidiary company in the form of a loan and paid it into Park Min Young's personal account as living expenses.
In response, Park Min Young's agency, Hook Entertainment, released a statement denying the allegations. The agency responded, "Actress Park Min Young was investigated as a reference person by the prosecution in February 2023, in connection with Kang Jong Hyun using her account in another name. It was clearly stated that Park Min Young did not participate in any illegal activities or gain any illegal benefits. The 250 million won mentioned in the article was used by Kang Jong Hyun's account, not as Park Min Young's living expenses."
Kang Jong Hyun was entangled in a controversy in which he was suspected of being the true owner of the cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb. In 2022, he was romantically associated with Park Min Young, and although they confirmed their relationship, they later declared their separation. Park Min Young also underwent a prosecution investigation but asserted her lack of involvement in any suspicions related to the use of a borrowed-name account.
Meanwhile, Park Min Young is currently starring in the new tvN drama 'Marry My Husband,' which aired the first episode on January 1.
A bunch of moral police in the comments. Like last I checked she hasn't committed any crime nor was she investigated so what's the issue here? That she likes money? In a capitalistic system? Grow up, and live in reality, stop being weird incels
