On January 9, Super Junior's Kyuhyun made his solo comeback with the new album 'Restart,' featuring the title song "The Story Behind."
According to the data released by the Hanteo chart, the artist's fifth solo mini-album accumulated around 24,000 units sold on the first day of its release. It then sold 40,826 copies during the first week.
With this, 'Restart' has become Kyuhyun's best-selling album in both first-day and first-week sales. It outsold his second single album, 'The Day We Meet Again,' released in 2019, with around 34,000 first-week sales.
Congratulations to Kyuhyun!
Considering this is first release post SM good for him and I guess maybe he was on to something in assuming his career would thrive somewhere else.
