NCT's Haechan is taking a hiatus from his activities due to health issues. 

SM Entertainment previously announced Haechan would be absent from NCT 127's 3rd concert 'NEO CITY: Japan - The Unity', and on January 9, the label stated he'll be taking a hiatus due to his ill health for the time being.

SM Entertainment stated, "While in Japan for scheduled activities, Haechan returned to South Korea first on January 8 and visited a hospital because of flu symptoms along with a high fever. The exam results say he has a severe case of tonsillitis, and the doctor advised he needs plenty of rest and stability. Haechan will be taking a break for a speedy recovery."

Haechan won't be participating in the 'Circle Chart Music Awards 2023' on January 10, which means NCT Dream will participate as 6 members - Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. His participation in future schedule activities will depend on his recovery.
