Choi Min Shik and Kim Go Eun in upcoming occult mystery 'Exhuma'

Director Jang Jae-hyun, renowned for his films 'Svaha: The Sixth Finger' and 'The Priests', is garnering international attention with his latest work, 'Exhuma'. 

Set for a February release, 'Exhuma' has already piqued interest globally with the unveiling of five international posters and a trailer featured in the esteemed American film magazine, 'Variety'.

The revealed international posters captivate viewers with enigmatic figures and intense close-up expressions. The first poster teases the audience with a mysterious entity barely emerging from unearthed soil, amplifying curiosity about the 'vicious' being portrayed. Accompanied by the English title "EXHUMA" and the tagline "The vicious emerges," the images of four characters intensely focused on something unknown stir intrigue about the events that will unfold following the grave robbing.

The international trailer, released alongside the posters, grips viewers with scenes of a geomancer, a funeral director, and shamans, who become entangled in bizarre incidents following the grave robbing. The foreboding line, "The worst of the worst," hints at the ominous circumstances awaiting those gathered to relocate a suspicious grave.

From the geomancer 'Sang-deok' seeking the land, to the shaman 'Hwa-rim' appeasing spirits, the meticulously prepared funeral director 'Yeong-geun', and the mantra-chanting shaman 'Bong-gil', these four distinct and strong characters collaborate in an unprecedented way, promising extreme immersion and intense genre entertainment.

'Exhuma' is an occult mystery film that delves into the strange incidents that occur to a geomancer, funeral director, and shamans who receive a hefty sum to relocate a suspicious grave.
