According to an exclusive media outlet report on January 5 KST, both couples wrapped up in dating rumors earlier this week had already broken up by the time word of their relationships had made news headlines. 

Earlier on January 1 KST, one media outlet reported that soccer player Lee Kang In (23) and former April member/actress Lee Naeun (25) were dating. Then, on January 3 KST, rumors spread via online communities that former April member/actress Yang Yena (24) and soccer player Seol Young Woo (26) were also dating, based on various forms of "evidence". 

Shortly after the dating rumors broke out, Lee Naeun's agency denied the rumors, stating that she and Lee Kang In were only "acquaintances". Approximately a day after Yang Yena's dating rumors broke out, her agency curtly explained that they could not respond to inquiries about the artist's "private life". 

Based on paparazzi photos published by THE FACT from January 1 KST, Lee Kang In and Lee Naeun were seen meeting up in November of last year. Now, according to SPOTV News, the couple has since broken up. 

Furthermore, SPOTV news claimed that Yang Yena and Seol Young Woo had also recently broken up "due to their busy schedules", shutting down various speculations online that all of the April members had been introduced to young, rising star soccer players at a "group meeting".
