MelOn reported that BLACKPINK set a new record, as their hit "Forever Young" became the first B-side song by an idol group to reach over 5.4 million unique listeners in the history of the platform.

As previously reported, BLACKPINK holds the record as the First Girl Group to have three songs surpass 6 million unique listeners on Melon, with "As If It's Your Last" having 6.3 million listeners, "DDU-DU DDU- DU" having 6.2 million and "Playing with Fire" with 6 million listeners, so if "Forever Young" continues to increase its numbers it could soon become the fourth song by the female quartet to achieve this feat.
